BROWNSVILLE, Texas – The Rio Grande Valley Partnership recently hosted the BTX Developer Event in conjunction with the City of Brownsville, the Greater Brownsville Incentives Corporation and the Brownsville Community Improvement Corporation.
The event attracted real estate developers and investors, both to a lunch held at the Brownsville Events Center and to a bus tour. In fact, there were two bus tours, one covering downtown Brownsville, including the site of the highly anticipated eBridge Center for Business & Commercialization, and the other a tour of industrial parks and the airport. Newly renovated Brownsville-South Padre Island International.
There were five keynote speakers during lunch. One of them was Constanza Miner, director of retail and development for the town of Brownsville. In his presentation, Miner listed some of the upcoming retail establishments. These included:
